Pacific Harbour

The area lives up to its reputation as a spot for adrenaline junkies, offering a wide variety of activities to get your heart racing, from surfing and shark feeding to four-wheel-drive tours. For a more laid-back experience try a round of golf on the championship course, or enjoy a spot of fishing. There’s a good range of accommodation types, from budget offerings to some of Fiji’s finest hotels, and plenty of dining options.

History

Pacific Harbour was originally developed in the 1970s as a canal residential subdivision offering an alternative lifestyle to urban dwellers. With a mix of locals and expats, Pacific Harbour now serves mainly as a destination for tourists with a focus on adventure.

Activities

Action and adventure are why many people come to Pacific Harbour, and there’s so much here you won’t know where to start.

Shark-feeding dives, four-wheel drive adventures and jet skiing are great ways to get the adrenaline flowing. For something more laid-back there’s an excellent Arts Village featuring food and crafts, or experience fishing around the beautiful Pacific Harbour reefs.

Dining

There are a number of great places to eat around Pacific Harbour, from cheap to high-end. Most restaurants are open for lunch and dinner and offer a mix of international and local cuisines.
